You can say I've l-l-l-lost my faith in science and prog-g-g-gress

What is wrong with Microsoft? Why can't these people turn out quality software, especially for items that are popular and used frequently? It used to be when I ran Windows Media Player I had trouble working with the Tag Editor. It used to lock-up when I tried to edit the tags on an MP3 music file. In this version of XP Professional on my newly upgraded computer I have here at work, the Tag Editor problem seems to have been fixed (the interface is still awkward) but when I play my music files with Windows Media Player it now skips and stutters horribly. Didn't we get over this whole phenomenon about the time when Max Headroom retired? You'd think an obvious problem in an application as widely deployed and popularly used as this would not remain unfixed. Idiots. I never have this problem with WinAmp.
