It's a good Friday morning.

It's a bright and sunny Bay Area morning again, after yesterday's rain. When I look at the weather web and see what that polar vortex is doing to the rest of the country I am reminded again how much I love this place. I don't know why but Internal DJ has been playing The Spinners: "Could It Be I'm Falling In Love" in my head this morning. It's an oldie but a goodie. I've got it going on YouTube as I type this. I'm feeling pretty good this morning. I've been having coffee in the mornings now, instead of Diet Coke. I'm trying to cut back on the arificial sweeteners and the coffee is provided by the company, so it's free caffeine, to me. I drink it black, with two (real) sugars. I also had a plain bagel with cream cheese, thanks to the head software guy bringing in a box of bagels and cream cheese spread assortment from Noah's every Friday. Just now (11:00) we had a group photo taken of the people who worked on the M-Series Project, which includes me.

I'm hoping that I won't be meeting with Tom this afternoon so that I can get a walk in. He said he'd call if he wanted me to go over to FedEx with him to fax those confidentiality agreements to Ted. He's got some more prospects for the gold mine exploration project. I'm hoping he can close a deal on this thing. I want Ted to drill some cores and find out if that theory of his holds any water, er, gold, in this case.
