(Put this in your journal too. The answers might surprise you.)

"Oooh! Better make it a whole lotta lumps!"

Interesting tune, Mr. Footle. I had to look it up, as I don't think I'm familiar with it, although I may have heard it once or twice and not recognize it now. Interesting lyrics. I'll have to think about this one.

You nead to listen to in too.

Ah, an old Rush tune!

Hmmm, I know this one. Rush is one of my favorite groups. I have trouble imagining how that tune could be applied to a particular person though...

Re: Ah, an old Rush tune!

It seemed to me that you would agree with the underlying argument expressed in the song, that's all.

Saw them in concert two summers ago (Vapor Trails tour). I've always liked them, but seeing them in concert was amazing!

Re: Ah, an old Rush tune!

Ah yes, I abhor egalitarian philosophy. (Of course, I view elitism as being just as collectivist too.) I suspect that you know that Rush was heavilly influenced by the writings of Ayn Rand.

Re: Ah, an old Rush tune!

Yes, that being the other reason I chose a Rush song as my answer.

Re: Ah, an old Rush tune!

Yes, it's just that many independent and individualist-minded individuals like Rush's music without knowing where some of the inspiration originates. I've always been partial to "Tom Sawyer" as a personal theme song. Heh heh.

Re: Ah, an old Rush tune!

"Red Barchetta" would be my favorite.

Re: Ah, an old Rush tune!

Ah! The song based upon Richard Foster's short sf story "A Nice Morning Drive." Yes. I like that one too! Excellent choice.
